For the finess season 2009/2010, the Tunturi Crosstrainer C40 has been equipped with a completely new console. Thus user-friendlines has been drastically improved and a range of new, excting training options have been integrated.
T-Ride™ and T-Road™ are two functions which are particularly striking in this context. The T-Ride™ simulates a bike right on natural terrain. The gears can be changed using the rotary switch and the altitude profile can be observed during training. The Tunturi C40's display shows, as well as training time and speed, the groups of muscles which are being influenced most in the respective training sector.
In T-Road™ the training programme is shown as training landscapes with genuine outdoor shots, which react to the ergometer's speed. The intensity automatically adjusts to the chosen gears and landscapes.
In addition the Tunturi Crosstrainer C40 has 10 predetermined training programmes (5 of which heart rate controlled), one manually controllable one, one constant heart rate programme as well as 100 memory locations for self-created programmes. All relevant training information is shown legibly on a 6,5" colour display.
The Tunturi Crosstrainer C40 16'' has a stride lenght of 16 inches (approx. 40cm).
